Program Notes:

With this work, I wanted to create an almost meditative sonic environment for the listener to exist in as the sounds move about the space. No actual bell sounds were used; instead I wanted to recall the sounds of my parents' wind chimes. I enjoy sitting outside during the summer just listening to those chimes. They have a hypnotic and meditative effect on me, and it is this environment I wanted to recreate in this piece.
